We invite readers of all ages to join the Winter Reading Challenge to Read for a Better World! Auglaize County Libraries will be joining the nationwide reading program hosted by Lerner Publishing and Beanstack featuring books that encourage readers to explore diversity, empathy, and action through literature. Lerner Publishing is also making their eBooks available for unlimited access during the Challenge through the Beanstack site and app.

To join the Challenge, log in or register on the Beanstack app or website. If you have not yet joined Beanstack, it's free and easy to do so. With Beanstack, you can easily log your reading, earn badges, and enter for prizes all from your computer or mobile device.Winter Reading prizes

This year, we challenge each reader to complete 10 reading or activity badges to earn a prize! Prizes for 2022 include a Rubik's cube fidget spinner or a 10 oz. tumbler. Collectively, we challenge Auglaize County as a whole to read 150,000 minutes! 

The Winter Reading Challenge will run from January 1-31, 2022, but registration is open now! Prize earners will be contacted mid-February for when and where to pick up their prizes. Watch our website, Facebook, or Instagram for more info.
