NK - What is Dungeons and Dragons?

Played since roughly the 1970s, Dungeons and Dragons (or D&D) has changed a lot in the past almost 50 years. With notable appearances in popular media like Stranger Things, increased popularity in D&D podcasts and shows like Critical Role, and the early 2023 movie Honor Among Thieves starring Chris Pine, more people than ever find themselves curious about what D&D actually is, and how it is played. This brief informational session is design to explain the fundamental workings of the game, and to answer as many questions as possible regarding how it is played. We will also have a sign up for short, beginner-friendly one session games in the following weeks if you'd like to try it yourself!
