The Auglaize County Public District Library participates in adding obituaries to the Rutherford B. Hayes Obituary Index for local newspapers that are kept and collected by the library in Wapakoneta.
Color Our World at your library this summer! The Summer Reading Challenge for all ages will return Sunday, June 1, 2025 and will run through Monday, July 14, 2025.

We offer Teen and YA Programs at our libraries, ranging from craft events to book clubs to volunteer opportunities. Check the calendar for more on branch specific information.

We host a variety of events throughout the county for school-aged children, which may include Book Clubs, Readers Theater, Lego Clubs, Paws to Read programs, and many more! Check out our online calendar for a full list of events to fit your interests.
In order to obtain a library card in our system, adults must have proof of their current address by showing either a driver's license, utility bill, or rental agreement. Children aged 17 and under must have a parent or guardian present with one of the above mentioned forms of identification.
